Ed Malone was born in Tyler, Texas and raised in the 3rd Ward portion of Houston, Texas.
He earned his high school diploma from Jack Yates Sr. High and then went on to earn his B.S
Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Texas Southern University. His parents taught
both he and his sister to be independent thinkers, work hard, Love God and treat others the way
that you want to be treated. In 1997 Ed started and built his own trucking company called
Knight Runner Express and ran the business for nineteen years. During this time Edward thought
that it would be a good idea to give back to the community by starting The Man of Principle Summer
Youth Program for young men ages 10-17. During the program's run, Ed and Woodie touched and
affected the lives of many young men who have gone on to become productive citizens. With his
natural aptitude for writing, storytelling and drawing, Ed decided to walk away from his trucking
business and open up his own film and music production company centered around family friendly
entertainment. Currently Ed runs and operates Texas Entertainment Network and has been in
business for twelve years. His guiding principle is to always keep your focus on God and he will
take care of the rest. Ed is not done yet as he continues to search for additional opportunities
to make a positive difference and give back to a country that has given him so much. Ed's
hobbies are writing, researching, drawing, weightlifting, producing music and big rig model building.
